This July, the Marin Museum of Bicycling brought a unique slice of mountain biking history to beautiful Bellingham, Washington, for the 2025 Northwest Tune-Up. In partnership with Freehub Magazine and with generous support from Kamloops Tourism, we curated a special exhibit titled “From Repack to Rampage – The Evolution of Freeride.”
Northwest Tune-Up is a true celebration of mountain biking culture—with awesome bikes and great tunes. The Museum brought four iconic bikes from our collection, while Pacific Northwest brands like Evil, Kona, and Transition helped fill out the lineup with their own contributions to the freeride story. Mountain Bike Hall of Fame legends Otis Guy and Charlie Kelly were on hand to tell their stories and answer questions.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth, joined us for the movie premiere at the Mount Baker Theatre, or attended the panel at the Waterfront. If you missed it, check out the video recap below and stay tuned for more events as we continue to share the past, present, and future of mountain biking.
